Project Control announced that John Sharpstene has joined the firm as Senior Project Manager. Mr. Sharpstene brings over 30 years of extensive experience working as a project manager and owner’s representative for Fortune 500 companies across the country. John’s broad-based career has given him a strong foundation in planning, construction, and facilities starting at the drawing board in North Carolina and progressing through a series of challenging project management, corporate real estate, and operations roles.
John has worked for companies as diverse as North America’s largest commercial printer, a global IT corporation, the world’s fifth largest airline, the leading architectural programming firm in Texas, and one of the world’s largest oilfield services companies.
Mr. Sharpstene holds a Bachelor and Master of Business Administration from Gardner-Webb University and an Associate in Architecture from Catawba Valley Community College. Prior to joining Project Control, John served as Program and Project Manager for Halliburton, Director of Operations for Facility Programming and Consulting, and Senior Manager of Facilities for Continental Airlines.
John and his family made San Antonio their home in 2009 and given John’s excellent experience and team leadership abilities, we plan to keep them around for a long time to come!
