DICK MCNARY TAKES HELM OF RABA KISTNER PROGRAM MANAGEMENT- San Antonio
The Board of Directors of Raba Kistner, Inc. has announced that Dick McNary, President of Project Control of Texas (PCT), has been named as Chief Operating Officer of Raba Kistner Program Management (RKPM). In his new role, he is directing the efforts of RKPM and its subsidiaries, Project Control and PC Sports, focusing on program management services and the application of the full range of quality assurance services that the companies offer. Dick retains his position as President of PCT.
“I look forward to building on the success of RKPM by leveraging the success of the existing clients of Project Control and PC Sports and by building our client base throughout the RKPM companies,” said Dick. “Having worked closely with RKPM leadership and staff for the past two years, it’s apparent that there are opportunities for growth, both geographically and through additional services.”
Dick joined PCT in 1985 – this year marks his 30th year with the firm - became COO in 2007 and President in 2012. He has served in the roles of both Project and Program Manager on an extensive history of projects that includes schools, hospitals, corporate headquarters, banks, hotels, entertainment venues, museums, and much more.
“My plans include growing RKPM geographically and increasing our market share in established areas such as Houston, Austin, and Dallas,” said Dick. “We plan to develop offices in new market sectors such as Bryan College Station.”
Dick is replacing Robert Costigan, PhD, PE, PMP, CFM, LEED GA, who has been with Raba Kistner since 2006. Dr. Costigan served as President and COO of Raba Kistner Consultants until 2013, when he accepted the role of COO of Raba Kistner Program Management. Dr. Costigan will continue with the firm, serving as Senior Consultant to help develop and implement sustainable Quality Management and project manager training programs.
Bob Crittenden, CEO and Principal of Project Control, continues in his role in Business Development for all divisions of RKPM. “I am very happy that Dick is taking on these new leadership responsibilities,” said Crittenden. “He is a strong and creative leader and RKPM will benefit from his extensive experience. He is well respected in the program management community and brings great value to both our private and public clients.”
