Haven for Hope of Bexar County is a transformational homeless center combining over 21 functional spaces. The full service campus is on approximately 22 acres of City owned property near downtown, in close proximity to the Public Safety Triage and County Detention Center.
There is over 285,000 s.f. under roof in either new or remodeled spaces. This includes approximately 125,000 s.f. of bunk and dorm type living in two new three-story residence halls, an outdoor sleeping area, a kitchen and dining hall capable of serving 1,200 meals per sitting, a 50,000 s.f.Transformational office that houses over 40 organizations (ranging from Goodwill, United Way to Alamo Community College District), a childcare center, chapel, kennel, warehouse and security office that provides security campus wide.
